Hi, I’m Lauren
I grew up in New York’s Hudson Valley among rolling hills, waving trees, and winding back roads. I moved to Manhattan for college and never left. I adore this city. Joan Didion once wrote, “a place belongs forever to whoever claims it hardest,” and I’m proud to say I’ve made New York my home.
I write because I’m enamored with language and stories. Check out some of my published pieces here. In addition to writing, I’m also a faculty member at Parsons School of Design, where I teach students how to balance writing and research with making and design.
